My name is Janet. I joined TCCF over 4 years ago. My guess is that I am close to being the oldest member there. However, after getting past the thought of being too old to belong to this type of gym, I really began to see the benefits.
Admittedly I was shocked that I could even finish a Crossfit WOD. (Workout of the Day) It was challenging both mentally and physically. However, the amount of support that came from not only the coaches but from the other members. They are excited to see you succeed. They are pumped to workout beside you and celebrate every milestone with you… I can do things now that I couldn’t even do in my 20’s. I feel better, I look better and most of all, I eat better. The thing is… you can’t eat crap and workout on this level. Sure, you can have cheat days and eat cake on occasion. But what comes from this community is the mindset to do well in all areas of your life. I have gained the mental ability to focus on doing everything better. Sure I’m physically stronger… but more so, I am mentally and emotionally stronger, which I feel is the bigger reward. It becomes your daily medicine that you can’t live without…I challenge you to come in and just try it. Meet these great folks I’m talking about and challenge yourself to feel great every day. The first day is very hard but we all remember… it was our first day once too.

My name is Cierra . I have been attending Triple Crown Crossfit and Striking sense February of 2016. Triple Crown has helped me in so many precious ways. After graduating high school, I kind of fell off the wagon when It came to fitness and I began to gain weight like crazy. Topping out at 200 lbs. I knew I needed a change but I had tried everything in the book.. except Crossfit. I started going to Triple Crown and I remember thinking that these people and these workouts were absolutely crazy. I remember thinking that I would never be able to do this. After continually pushing myself and repeating the movements of Olympic weight lifting and Gymnastics, I began to notice these movements started to feel like butter. I was getting stronger. I was getting stronger physically but I was also getting stronger mentally. Sense then, I have lost a total of 45 lbs. and my body is in better shape then ever. Crossfit has trained me discipline, respect and how to not be a baby when it came to pushing myself during a workout. This sport has changed my life for the better. I now have no problem trying to make one trip from the car to the house with every single bag of groceries after a trip from Kroger. We all know that’s whats most important. I look forward to my time in the gym everyday and I enjoy the interaction with the Triple Crown staff and members. Everyone is so nice and excepting. This is a family, this is a community and I will never turn my back on them. Training at TCCF was the best decision I could’ve made. I am overall more happy with my life and I’m excited for what the future holds for me.

My name is David. I am a 52 year old accountant and I have been doing CrossFit at Triple Crown CrossFit for 3 years. I started CrossFit to lose weight in preparation for a kidney transplant. I went from 297 lbs. to 220 lbs. in about 9 months with CrossFit and diet control. I have since had the surgery and everything is doing well. I have found that CrossFit has been the best workout I have ever done. The CrossFit family at TCCF has been great support and has made working out a normal part of my day. I know that many people think CrossFit is to difficult and hard on the body, but what I have learned is anyone can do it. The trainers are excellent at scaling a workout to fit your ability and still push you to succeed in your workout goals. I work out 5 days a week and feel lost on the days that I don’t workout. But your body does need to rest. I recommend TCCF to anyone who wants to be health and active in their life.

I’ve always been in and out of gyms and could never find a routine that stuck. After my wife found TCCF and began to go regularly I would sit on the couch as I watched her walk out the door. This went on for about 4 months and I started to feel guilty. I am a police officer and am constantly dealing with people that are half my age. I realized I needed to start leveling the playing field and it only took a few workouts at TCCF for me to realize I had found what I needed. This is the first time in my life I feel bad about missing the gym and I genuinely miss it if I’m not there. Having a community of people who suffer and sweat through WODs with me creates a unique bond and an accountability. We all know what it’s like to struggle through a WOD and what it feels like to cheer someone through it. If I wasn’t in that environment I know I wouldn’t be as strong as I am today. I’m greatful my wife found TCCF and I’m happy to have a new family.
Triple crown crossfit is an amazing place and has changed my life. I am 45 years old and I’m in the best shape of my life and I could not do it without all the trainers and people from tccf who push my every day. I started out only going two days a week then slowly added a third day when I immediately started seeing results. Then came the fourth and now I’m up to five days a week, taking 2-3 classes a night. Everyone there has given me the confidence to sign up for my first crossfit competition this fall and I’ve only been doing this a little over a year. Tccf is a great community, they truly care about everyone there and go above and beyond to help everyone achieve their goals. I could not ask for a better group of people to workout with and also I now call them my friends. I would recommend tccf to everyone I know. Thanks,
